Background

Current Work: Cheree is currently a certified eighth grade English Language Arts/public school teacher.

Previous Work: Cheree conducted and founded an active online ministry for the students of the University of Louisiana titled, “College Students Heaven-bound,” where she would post a monthly article based on faith, inspiration, and bible principles. The group consisted of 180 members, and members were able to post prayer requests and questions. She was a member of ULL’s Chi Alpha, which is one of the country’s largest campus ministries. Through this ministry she was able to be involved in many faith based projects. Cheree has also led my her own "Glitz, Glamour, and God" bible studies for young women,

Education: Dec. of 2006, Cheree graduated from the University of Louisiana earning a BA degree in Elementary Education, with a focus in English for Middle School. She has also completed a Bible Literature course at the University of New Orleans and has been personally instructed by English professor Dr. Zhoming Qian, who is known for his published literary books that are based on Chinese history. She attended many bible seminars as well as writing courses to successfully complete her manuscript which is based on biblical references.

Published Work: Cheree has published a personal article in the La Lousianne University magazine, working as the lead student editor, http://www.louisiana.edu/Advancement/PRNS/lala/2006-SPRG/over.pdf.

As student editor, she interviewed professors and student leaders. She was also trained in proofreading and advertisement. Cheree participated in writing and interviewing for the inspirational section of the magazine, where she spoke with the leaders of religious groups and Christian organizations throughout the University.

Speaker

Cheree has been public speaking since she was thirteen years old. She has been involved in speaking at church as well as highschool and church retreats. She was a peer minister throughout highschool, and led bible studies and prayer meetings in her college years. She has given lectures to her college classes on her much researched topic, The Shroud of Turin, and she has also led discussions of Biblical analysis in her college course, Bible Literature. Cheree was also the lead speaker for junior leaders at Covenant Church- a prominent outreach of Jesse Duplantis World-Wide Ministries. Churches have invited her to speak to young adults on the issues of sex, marriage, and purity. She and her husband, Jorge Gomez, often speak together as an example that the principles in Glitz, Glamour, and God are attainable.
